When I started, and the majority of you did too, we looked at just low-carb for beginners, zero carb bulking. There were tons of people who ate very little or no carbohydrates, and it was assumed they were in the fat/carb advantage, but that’s not the case anymore. As I mentioned earlier, insulin rises to its peak, and stays there for years. It is one of the most powerful hormonal signals that a cell receives during puberty, and can increase a cell’s likelihood of growing into an adult.
